| KHARABANE GAME FARM is
divided into two parts, namely; Front
Part - Mixed farming activities CARAVAN PARK DEVELOPMENT An exclusive caravan park consisting of three types of stands to comply to each individual's taste. Limited stands and strict control is proof of the developer's emphasis on nature conservation and other natural resources on the farm. The caravan stands are divided into the following three types: TYPE A is a four caravan stand.
Each stand has it's own bathroom, kitchen and braai area. Paved caravan stands are
equipped with an electric power point, outside light and lawn surrounded by the beauty of
the heart of the Bushveld. The stands are available as follows on a share block scheme of
one week: TYPE B is an eight caravan stand
with the same facilities and finish as Type A, but is available for the investor who wants
to share with his fellow-camper. Share block scheme for one week is as follows: TYPE C is a sixteen caravan
stand with paved stands, electrical power points, outside lights and braai facilities. The
ablution block, which includes a dishwashing area is shared by all campers who enjoy these
types of facilities. This camp is also available for weekend campers. Share block scheme
for one week is as follows: MAIN BUILDING The main complex of approximately 800 square metres consists of a licensed restaurant, a well equipped kitchen and a public area seating 150 people. There is also a bar and a small grocery shop. The swimming pool area has sun chairs and umbrellas for the campers spending the day at the pool. For the younger campers there are pool tables and other games available. A communal washing and ironing room is also situated in the main complex. RECREATION Mountain bikes, horse rides, game drives, a lookout tower and children's farm is available. Unfortunately no pets are allowed. The Carousel and Warmbaths are less than half an hours drive from Kharabane. Several game species are found on Kharabane, including Impala, Kudu, Eland, Cape oryx, Duiker, Springbok, Warthog, Caracal and an active bird life. |
